Reliable Results for Precise
Gas Flow Measurements
Accredited calibration services for gas flowrate measuring instruments with demonstrated metrological traceability to national and international standards.
Our accredited laboratory calibrates gas flowrate measuring instruments (e.g., variable-area flowmeters/rotameters, electrical and mechanical gas flow meters, and flow meters with voltage or current outputs). Calibrations are carried out using reference standards and measurement systems with proven metrological traceability, for each item we issue a calibration certificate in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. Results are accurate, reproducible, and internationally recognized under ISO/IEC 17025.
We calibrate the following instruments:
- Mechanical and electronic gas meters
- Flowmeters (rotameters) for gaseous media
- Electronic gas flow meters (including devices with current/voltage outputs)
- Mechanical gas flow meters for gaseous media
- Anemometers
- Gas cylinder pressure regulators

Note:
The scope of accreditation, together with the associated uncertainties, is provided in the appendix.
Upon agreement, and within our technical capabilities, we can also calibrate flow meters beyond the accredited scope as non-accredited measurements. In such cases, proof of traceability to international SI units will be provided.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is flow meter calibration and why is it important?
Calibration of flow meters is the process that ensures correct measurement of gas flow rate. It is essential for conformity with industrial standards, process efficiency, and product quality.
How often should a flow meter be calibrated?
The recommended interval depends on the application, industry regulations, and the manufacturer’s instructions. An annual calibration is commonly advised, but high-accuracy or critical equipment may require more frequent checks.
Which types of flow meters can be calibrated?
We calibrate gas flowrate measuring instruments: gas meters, gas-cylinder pressure regulators, variable-area flowmeters (rotameters), electronic flow meters, mechanical flow meters, and flow meters with voltage or current outputs for gaseous media.
Do you provide ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration?
Yes, our gas flow meter calibrations are accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 for the listed scope.
